The NBL’s Perth Wildcats teamed up with Coles supermarkets in Western Australia to help raise funds for JDRF again in 2017.
During the first half of November, which included World Diabetes Day, shoppers could pick up a Perth Wildcats trading card at 99 of Coles’ WA stores. A donation of just $2 to JDRF got you one card, and there were 13 in the set to collect.
The campaign has raised nearly $40,000 for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Thank you to Coles WA, the Wildcats and their Red Army fanbase, and the T1D community for all the support. Wildcat’s fan, Levi, who lives with T1D, has a thank you message for all of you.
